Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer

Cinder - Marissa Meyer

Hi guys, I hope you all are having a nice day and this is my review to Cinder by Marissa Meyer.

This book is about another dystopian world where human technology is extremely advanced. So they've managed to create cyborgs... half robot-half human species. There's Earth (Eartherns live on Earth) and Luna (Lunars who live on the moon and have powers). Earth is being taken over with a plague, and there are a lot of sub-plots surrounding that story. So Cinder is an adopted cyborg after surviving an accident in which her parents were killed. She's a renowned mechanic in New Beijing and one day Prince Kai comes to her to fix his android which is broken. Unfortunately, she hides she's a cyborg from Kai. Guess what happens?

Cinder is awesome, she can fix machines. I love her already. I also like how in this retell of Cinderella, Cinder has a great relationship with one of her sisters. She's a simple character, and is likable in the story without making any major mistakes. Her relationship with the surrounding characters make sense and are slowly building throughout every page that's nice.

One thing I would love to have a little more of would have to be action. I know there's already a lot to this book but if it would've had a little more action then I would've loved it more.

Definitely a nice read that you all should give a shot to.
