Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search, Part One (The Search Trilogy #1)

Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search, Part 1 - Dave Marshall, Gurihiru, Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko, Gene Luen Yang

Hey guys, I hope you all are having a great day! This is my quite quick review to Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search, Part One. The Search is the second installment in the Avatar comic edition, and The Search is split into three parts. This is written by Gene Luen Yang, Bryan Konietzko, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Gurihiru (the Artist).

The Search, Part One kind of leads off from where The Promise, Part Three ended. It kind of leads on to where Fire Lord Zuko wants to find his mom because he thinks that’s what will establish peace. So he, Aang, Katara, Sokka, and unfortunately, Azula came because she holds a letter that shows where Ursa (Zuko’s mother) possibly could have gone after all those years.

I have to admit, only the ending kind of shocked me. Hehe . . . it’s a spoiler, guys.

OMG IS ZUKO ILLEGIMATE?! SO HE’S NOT OZAI’S SON! BECAUSE THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY OZAI WOULD ALWAYS TREAT ZUKO SO DIFFERENTLY THAN HE TREATED AZULA. But . . . there’s one thing that’s off. If Zuko is Ursa and Ikem (her first love, a village boy)’s son, then wouldn’t Ozai at least have Ursa I don’t know . . . checked or something to make sure she wasn’t pregnant or anything?!

(show spoiler)

Like I’ve said, Avatar fans will love this. Any comic is good to read. My only problem is this is kind of short. But once again, if you’re an Avatar fan, read this.
