Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search, Part Three (The Search Trilogy #3)

Avatar: The Last Airbender- The Search Part 3 - Gene Luen Yang

Hi guys, this is my review to Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Search, Part Three. This is written by Gene Luen Yang, Bryan Konietzko, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Gurihiru (the Artist). This is also the final book in The Search Trilogy

The Fate of the Fire Lord!

Avatar Aang travels to the spirit world to parlay with an ancient power, bringing Fire Lord Zuko ever closer to discovering the truth about his mother's fate—and his own past. Yet Zuko's sister Azula is becoming increasingly dangerous, threatening to ruin everything that Zuko, Aang, Katara, and Sokka have struggled to achieve on their search!

I have to admit, I guessed the ending of this book when I read the ending of the second. When Aang came into contact with the Mother of Spirits, I had a feeling what happened, especially because she does the opposite of Koh, The Face Stealer.

I guess the ending of this was satisfying, but there were more questions in my mind than when I first started this trilogy in the Avatar comics.

Some questions were that if Zuko's mother had lost her memory about her kids when the Mother of Spirits took away her memory, then how did she remember Noren? And if Zuko was never Ikem/Noren's son, then why did Ursa even bother telling Ozai that she wanted to hurt him when she wished Zuko wasn't his son? Why did Azula have to be the one to pay the price for Ozai's power-hungry means? Why did she have to run through the forgetful valley?

(show spoiler)

I guess my love for this book is making me still read all these comics, because the newest trilogy set to come out this year Smoke and Shadow is about The New Ozai Society, which is a group of people meant to dethrone Zuko.

So yeah, I am reading the next trilogy: The Rift.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great day! :D
